Enhanced Course Capture in MSE Classrooms

Enhanced Course Capture brought to MSE Classrooms!

MSE Course Capture

During the Fall 2011 quarter C&C deployed two Echo360 course capture units in the new Material Science & Engineering building classrooms. Students in these two classrooms will have on-demand access to rich educational content as presented during lecture. This includes an archive of the presentation display (computer, laptop, document camera, iPad, etc...) as well as video camera and audio. The result is an enhanced educational experience that provides exceptional playback quality and meets the needs of modern student mobile lifestyles. For more information on the two Echo360 units deployed at MS&E, please contact Michael Capriotti from Multimedia& Classroom Technologies.

UCR's Course Capture Pilot is a hardware solution that can archive your course lecture and make it available online for students to review. Microphone audio and display video are recorded, processed, and posted automatically. Currently the following video technologies can becaptured:

  • Classroom PC Computer
  • Laptop
  • iPad
  • Document Camera
  • Smartboard
